Litigation Associate

Platt Richmond is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our robust and growing practice. This attorney will be responsible for assisting the partners and senior attorneys in all facets of general corporate litigation cases including legal research and writing, strategy development, hearings, depositions, and trial preparation and attendance. This role requires knowledge of the litigation process.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in all facets of the litigation practice
  • Draft motions, discovery, and legal briefs
  • Take fact and expert depositions
  • Assist with and argue claim construction
  • Appear for court hearings
  • Litigation strategy development
  • Trial preparation and practice

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with commercial litigation cases in a private practice environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • J.D. and Texas Bar Admittance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Genuine, authentic personality
