Client Intake Coordinator
Platt Richmond is seeking a Client Intake Coordinator to join our robust and growing practice. The primary focus of this position is to assist in onboarding new clients and matters for the Firm by managing conflict checks, new client creation, new matter creation as well as engagement letter drafting and client communications. This role will work directly with the Firm's partners and attorneys to ensure that clients are setup timely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a law firm setting, strong attention to detail, and an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word. This position is a part of the finance team and reports to the Head of Finance.

The normal business hours are 8:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday but may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Process conflict checks
- Create new clients and matters in all systems
- Draft, send, receive, and file engagement letters
- Communicate with clients as needed
- Train new attorneys and paralegals on client intake process
- Maintain client intake log
- Front desk backup support
- Manage word processing requests
Requirements:
- High school diploma is required
- One year of law firm experience is required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Ability to organize projects and execute in a timely fashion
- Experience working in a law firm setting preferred
- Detail-oriented and self-starter
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
