Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney
Platt Richmond is seeking a mid-level commercial real estate associate attorney to join our robust and growing practice. This individual would be responsible for assisting the partners in all facets of commercial real estate development and financing transactions, including interfacing with clients and other deal parties. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of solid commercial real estate transaction experience.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist partners on a broad range of transactions
- Prepare and/or negotiate letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, title objection letters, leases, joint venture agreements, and financing documents
- Conduct legal due diligence, including title and survey, land use/zoning, and environmental
- Quarterback deal closings, including coordination with deal teams and title companies
- Manage and delegate tasks to junior associates and paralegals
- Conduct deal status conferences
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of relevant experience (however, we are open to considering a strong candidate just outside of this range)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and grammatical skills, both verbal and written
- Genuine, authentic personality
- Team player; takes direction well; receptive to constructive feedback
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- J.D. and Texas Bar Admittance
